RYOBI Pressure Washer Guide

RYOBI pressure washers span several machine and accessory systems. Use the exact model, output class and connection path to separate conventional pressure washers from EZClean power cleaners and to avoid assuming every RYOBI accessory is interchangeable.

Start with the exact RYOBI model family

The current U.S. lineup mixes corded electric, 40V battery, gas pressure washers and EZClean power cleaners. Those are not one accessory system. Record the model number before matching hose, gun, surface cleaner, nozzle or pump parts.

For replacement and accessory selection, continue to RYOBI pressure washer parts & compatibility.

Current RYOBI pressure-washer families are materially different

RYOBI's current U.S. collection separates conventional pressure washers from lower-pressure power cleaners and currently includes corded electric, battery and gas products. That distinction matters because a brand name alone does not identify the hose, gun, nozzle or accessory interface.

Pressure washer vs. EZClean power cleaner

Pressure washers

RYOBI currently lists conventional corded electric, 40V and gas pressure washers in the same collection. These machines use high-pressure hoses, trigger guns/wands and pressure-washer attachments appropriate to their output class.

EZClean / power cleaners

RYOBI also lists separate 18V and 40V power-cleaner products and EZClean-specific accessories such as extension poles, spray heads and 3-in-1 nozzles. Treat this as a separate interface family unless the manufacturer explicitly cross-lists the accessory.

RYOBI surface-cleaner compatibility is a good example of why model matching matters

RYOBI currently sells several different surface-cleaner classes rather than one universal brand accessory. The 12-inch RY31SC12 uses a 1/4-inch quick connect and is sold as a 2300 PSI cleaner. The 15-inch RY31SC15 is documented for most gas pressure washers up to 3400 PSI and 2.5 GPM. Other current listings include electric-only, 15-inch gas, 16-inch/3700-PSI and 18-inch gas cleaners.

That makes the correct decision path machine output → connection → cleaner rating, not “RYOBI washer → RYOBI surface cleaner.” See the independent surface-cleaner compatibility guide.

Hoses, guns and quick connects

High-pressure hose

RYOBI currently lists dedicated high-pressure hose products including RY31HPHE23 for the 2300-PSI electric class and general 35- and 50-foot high-pressure hoses. Do not infer connection details from hose length alone.

Trigger handle / gun

RY31036K is currently described as compatible with most pressure washers up to 3600 PSI and includes a metal wand plus four quick-connect nozzles. That is a pressure-class statement, not proof of fit to every RYOBI model.

Quick-connect adapters

RY31QCK01 is a seven-piece kit described for most pressure washers up to 4000 PSI and covers garden-hose inlet, pump outlet and trigger-handle connection tasks. Verify the exact adapter needed before changing a machine's connection path.

Nozzles

RYOBI sells conventional pressure-washer turbo and 5-in-1 nozzles as well as separate EZClean nozzles. Keep the two product ecosystems distinct.

Gas-model pump replacement needs a separate check

RYOBI's current gas lineup creates pump-replacement demand, but the brand page should not turn a shared engine or PSI number into a fit claim. Use the Pump Finder and replacement-pump checklist, then confirm mounting, shaft, orientation, RPM/power, ports and clearance against the exact RYOBI model.

Frequently asked questions

Are all RYOBI pressure washer accessories interchangeable?

No. RYOBI currently sells corded electric, battery pressure washers, gas pressure washers and lower-pressure EZClean power cleaners. Accessories can have different pressure limits and connection systems. Match the exact washer model and accessory specification.

What is the difference between a RYOBI pressure washer and an EZClean power cleaner?

RYOBI lists pressure washers and power cleaners as separate product types. Current pressure washers span corded, battery and gas designs, while EZClean products are lower-pressure portable cleaners with their own accessory ecosystem. Do not assume an EZClean accessory fits a conventional pressure washer.

Which current RYOBI pressure washers use the highest flow?

In the current U.S. collection reviewed August 28, 2026, the RY80589 gas pressure washer is listed at 3300 PSI and 2.4 GPM. Many current electric models are around 1.1 to 1.2 GPM. Always verify the exact current model page because the lineup changes.

Can I use a universal pressure washer gun on a RYOBI washer?

Sometimes, but only after identifying the washer-side hose connection, gun inlet and wand outlet. RYOBI sells a trigger-handle kit described for most pressure washers up to 3600 PSI, but model-specific connections still need verification.

Can I use a gas-pressure-washer surface cleaner on a RYOBI electric washer?

Not simply because the connection looks similar. RYOBI separates electric and gas surface-cleaner products and publishes different pressure/flow limits. Match the exact cleaner rating and connection to the machine.

Where should I look for exact RYOBI replacement parts?

Start with the exact model number and the RYOBI product/manual or replacement-parts lookup. The RYOBI parts page on this site focuses on interface and accessory matching, not an inferred replacement-parts database.
